Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2008
Over 60 paddlers from SAFRA Dragon Boat Club have participated in the two days’ race organized by SDBA at Bedok Reservoir. SAFRA has sent a total of two 20-crew boats for the National Championship (MEN); one 20-crew boat for the National Championship (MIXED); one 10-Crew boat for the National Championship (WOMEN) and five 10-crew boats for the Inter-Business House & Club (OPEN).
Results of the races are as below:
Inter-Business House & Club – Grand Final - 2nd & 3rd
National Championship 20-crew Men Open - Semi final
National Championship 20-crew Mixed Open - Semi Final
National Championship 10-crew Women Open - Semi Final
It was a great outing for the club and we had lots of fun and have learned valuable experience during the race.
We are proud of the achievements attained from the race, but SAFRA Dragon Boat Club will not stop here. We will fight for better results and focus on training hard for the up-and-coming races.
